2/$22 + New Packaging

As you are probably well aware, there was a big deal about the 2/$22 - I posted about it today. It was pulled from the website and in place of it was $6 Fall Traditions and a 25% off + $1 shipping on orders over $25. B&BW confirmed on their Facebook page my suspicions that the sale would resume it's run through Sunday starting tomorrow. I already expressed my thoughts earlier so I'll say naught more on it but it was in fact in stores still - at least it was in the stores I visited today! 

Also, I made an error in a previous post by stating Pink Chiffon Body Butter has released. One of my local stores has it out but the others don't, so selection might vary, if you're deadset on it call ahead and find out. The official launch as I am told for the new packaging will be October 7th.

Amber Blush Sheer Mist + PC Body Butter Has landed + Candle Fiasco

First and foremost, the Pink Chiffon Body Butter has LANDED in stores! At least, the ones I've been to. It's kind of ambiguous since they didn't put it out in the center with the other Pink Chiffon stuff but what can ya do?

Also saw a new product today (going to a diff store so maybe pictures?!) called Sheer Mist or maybe it was Sheer Perfume Mist. The manager was talking to another customer about it, describing it is a middle ground between FFM and EDT. She said it's something of a mixture, designed to last longer than the FFM. It's in a FFM bottle with a golden ring with leaves going down the side (think Forever Red's bow) and prices at $19.50. It's apparently a let's see how well this does type thing.

And once again, the candle fiasco kicks back up. Before, it was the holiday/test scents/phone orders thing. Now today, when I got up, I went to check the website and found that the 2/$22 deal was gone but there was $6 Fall Traditions online only and 25% off your entire purchase + $1 shipping on orders over $25 after the discount is applied.

At any rate, when DOD went on, decorated wallflower bulbs were pulled and put back out when over, FFM in MH and PP were pulled during FFM sales and now the 2/$22 is suspended online presumably due to the coupon code. I understand they're here to push product and make money, but I gotta say, I am prettyannoyed with this. I don't even order online but once in a blue moon and it just burns my behind up because let's face it, shipping is ridiculous and when there's a $10/$30 it's still not a great deal because you're saving usually only $2-4 so you might as well just bring it in store and buy your stuff there. Understandable from a business standpoint. Customer friendly? Not so much. There's a disclaimer that says B&BW can change their promotions at any time - we've seen it in action before, sales that should've gone until x time suddenly over three days early, or sales that were extended. Sadly, it is what it is.

So, long short, 2/$22 IS AVAILABLE IN STORE. Just not online.

In which I actually say something useful!

Hey guys! Just wanted to address a few things. 

As today is August 4th, we are fast approaching Monday when most stores should have everything out - if they already don't. My store started setting up Thursday even though they only had one of the Mason Jar handsoaps and were missing Wild Mint from Fresh Picked. Nonetheless, an exciting time, no?

Tonight marks the (true) end of the Hot Summer sale, these steals will be going away. 

• $5 Select Body Care when I inquired about whether or not the products would be leaving, I was told no, but that they wouldn't be this current sale price. Forever Sunshine however will likely be pulled at this time.
• $6 Wallflower Refills. Should stores have any left over, they'll be pulled for next SAS.
• $3 Anti-Bacterial Hand Soap
• 1/$8, 2/$12 Sweet & Sexy Travel Size Mist preview

As for anything else, I suppose whatever candles they couldn't clearance will be taken back until the SAS. If your store has any decent 50% off candles leftover, now is the time! Also worth noting, I did find the boxed limited edition Destination 4oz. candles 50% off last time I was in store. They go for $6.25 now. Not the best of steals unless you can get the box in decent shape. I wanted a London Calling one so bad but the boxes on all of them were torn from people opening them. Plus they don't have a lid! 

I doubt stores will keep their 50%/75% shelves up much longer either. I would guess it's going to be pulled. 

 Malibu Heat lovers out there, it's going away Labor Day, so stock up now. I have no doubt we'll be seeing it again the day or so after Christmas at a steal but if you are low and don't have enough, as I say, now is the time! 

I would also like to note, not something ending but an interesting thing. I saw Coconut Vanilla still on the website.

 

   

It looks to be at the old prices. Lotion & Shower Gel for $10.50, Mist for $12.00. The lotion has the little Online Exclusive tick on it so I'm wondering if it's sticking around for a while. It's not on any sort of discount and is available at the current signature deal. Fans of it, rejoice. It's still here. For now and doesn't appear to be going anywhere.

Anyway, I'm putting off breakfast now. PIC should be home shortly and I am thinking we are going to hit our local B&BW.
