I didn't notice the SCP body mousse until today but I did not look at the website yesterday so I can't say for sure. I do venture to say it'll probably appear in stores soon. I would also venture a guess, keep in mind this is a guess, that we will see Amber Blush trickling online  by next weekend.

  

Speaking of Amber Blush, the EDT preview is online currently for $3 here (It keeps dragging to the top left so I can't seem to drag the photo linked.). Reminds me of when Beautiful Day was out. Wonder if they will give a Facebook coupon out to let people redeem a free one like they did before. Time will tell.

Lastly and not least, the sales you can expect in store right now are:

 It's a good weekend to go shop! There's also the possibility of a DOD involving $4 FFM possibly on Tuesday - that will give enough time for the B3G3 to end without running both at once. They wouldn't stack anyhow but it'd be mass confusion for the customers in store I'm sure.

Target Finds!

Hey guys. Took a trip to Target for some odds and ends. One of the burners (the only large one) on our stove decided to blow out on us so we decided to get some stuff that was easy for the next couple days until maintenance comes out. Oh the joys of being young and renting a flat! 

The joys of Fall! I found a couple interesting things whilst there! 

While I am not super huge on pop-tarts, every once in a while, why not? Pumpkin Pie say what?! I don't know if these were around last year, but I saw them when we were picking up PIC's S'mores ones. I couldn't resist. I don't know how good it's gonna taste but I'm willing to find out! I did not see the Eggo Waffles in Pumpkin Spice yet. Patiently awaiting those.

I don't pay much attention to candy corn as I am not largely a fan. However, I saw these and picked them up anyway. They actually taste pretty good, candy corn consistency aside. We also got a bag of Starburst ones. The pink ones are amazing, but PIC can have them.

Smelled the candle to pick this one out. It's got a pretty generic but nice apple/spice/Fall feel to it. It sort of reminds me of B&BW's Leaves but nowhere near as potent and in your face. 

That sums up my non-B&BW Target finds. Nothing overly special. I did get myself a new hand mixer though so I WILL be doing a ton of baking soon. I wonder if I ought to make myself another blog for cooking adventures. Things to ponder.

Labor Day Weekend

Hi, hi, hello, hello. I hope you all are doing well/having a safe weekend! 

I stopped in my local B&BW today to see the goodies and here's what I have to report!

Some items will leave the floor once this is said and done. I don't know about the Fresh Picked - that I sort of doubt because it just came out. Sweet and Sexy though, it's unclear. You might be able to find some of this stuff again at SAS, whatever was left in the back I am sure.

They've been running DOD and should do through the weekend. Yesterday was the wonderful $2.50 wallflower bulbs although I am told the decorative ones were pulled so I guess it was okay that I missed it. Today they are offering $2.50 hand soaps. Tomorrow, the candle sale starts back up and will last through Monday, 2/$22. So those ones that just hit the floor including Pumpkin Carving, Pumpkin Hayride, Applewood Bonfire and Sweater Weather will be up for the buying. I already got my Applewood Bonfire fix but I AM thinking of trading in my Pumpkin Pecan Waffles candle after smelling the oil being used today in store and it was AWFUL! Bad enough that the manager got rid of it and used Sweet Cinnamon Pumpkin instead. Even the customers were complaining that it stunk before the switch.

So I went, I saw, and I bought. 

PIC got the Energy Shampoo and claimed a free conditioner with the coupon above. I finally got around to getting Heirloom Cranberries because let's face it - I meant to buy it. So many times. And I ended up leaving with something else every single time. At $4 per item, I had to do it this time. One Forever Sunshine to compliment my set and two of my absolute most favourite scrub ever ever in existence because it's that good. It works wonders on my arms and legs and I'm sad to see it go but I'm sure it'll come back next summer and I made sure I had fifty bajillion of it before it left. 

The small glass tube on top of my fresh picked is the Amber Blush preview. Remember the Beautiful Day EDT preview? They are now doing it for Amber Blush. I mistranslated some info I got about it starting this week, clearly it was the preview. Apologies to anyone who may have gotten their hopes up on that. I'll be more careful.

ANYHOO, I tried it and I have to say I really like it. I always find the fragrances I am just not hyped for I end up adoring and the ones I think I'll like, I don't. Weird how it works. Anyway, it smells a little like Forever Red, but sweeter. I definitely get a berry scent off this, maybe a mature Sugar Berry Smash. Not as sickeningly sweet but grown up. I really like it and I look forward to buying it! I don't really buy signature that often when it's not on B3G3/B3G2 because I usually snag most of it free with coupons or buy it on clearance but I just might do!

Speaking of such things, B3G3 is going this weekend as well.

What does tomorrow bring?

Hi, hello. Gals and guys. Lovers of fragrance.

As you know, tonight is a floorset. I didn't see much while I was in tonight except for some cute decorations. Although, I believe Amber Blush is appearing tomorrow. 

Summer stuff is going on sale too. Look for a table or two in your store that will have stuff that is LEAVING. These include Malibu Heat, True Blue Spa Summer collection (stuff like malibu branded items), Summer Chill and whatever didn't sell off the ever moving $5 stand of wonders. I don't know the deets other than these items will be 50% off. My guess is through Labor Day weekend. So sadly, the stuff that was $5, will be MORE than it was. I presume whatever doesn't clear out will go back off the floor until SAS. 

The last of the items for Fall ought to be trickling out at this point. I saw some cute Halloween themed mini candle rings. One was a pumpkin and one was a bat. Sadly, no pictures! Pumpkin Carving, Pumpkin Hayride and Sweater Weather should be in stores now.

Forever Midnight + Christmas Candles

Hey guys! 

I've got some news about Forever Midnight. Those of you who receive snail mail goodies from B&BW this is for you: postcards are going out to some of you that you can take in store to redeem your sample of Forever Midnight. It's going to include both Hers and His and says keep yours and share with someone irresistable or something to that effect. Exact wording escapes me right now. 

If you frequent a store enough you might get one without the card. I don't know. I only saw the thing briefly. Now, it's slated to premiere in November. No word on the date or even the week yet. Excited yet?

 It is Leaves in a "Sweater Weather cable knit" jar clocking in at $18.00. A little pricy!

 

This guy is an oil warmer. I saw this in stores right about when all the owl stuff came out, surprised it took this long to hit the website! 

And now tidbits!

Word has it that the floorset slated for September 8th moved to August 28th. I'm confident something is going on that night so I would bet that word is right but don't hold me to it if something happens and it doesn't come to pass! The rest of the candles should be coming with it such as Applewood Bonfire, Sweater Weather, et al. I suspect Amber Blush won't be too far behind that either. 

Christmas candles should be hitting test stores soon. Rumour has it select test stores had some today. I can't confirm or deny, hence "rumour" but I can see it happening soon if it didn't already. By select stores, I don't know which ones, but I would bet Easton for certain. I just hate how Easton won't accept coupons of ANY sort through phone orders. 

 Forever Midnight should be previewing soon within the next week or so also. If I get a whiff, I'll definitely post what I think of it. Forever Red was already out when I began B&BW shopping so I missed all that hubub.

Last day for candles.

Hey guys! As most of you are aware, B&BW has a 2/$22 candle sale this weekend only. Today's your last chance to grab those gorgeous Fall beauties at the sale price. Some of the candles aren't going to be out until Wednesday sadly. 

Yesterday and today, I got my last little bit. I had to have at least one Flannel and the only reason I got what I did today was ...

Applewood Bonfire! Tada! Stoked much? Why yes, yes I am! My usual store had them but I could only smell them and not buy. PIC went to a non-usual store while I cooked lunch up and they sold him the three pictured here. Ugh so good. For that crackling fire smell without the sweetness, this is where it's at. Amazing! Should've bought the box. Ugh, no, stop that thought. I will NOT go back and buy the other half, I will not.

I also traded in a spare Coconut Lime Breeze for the Aspen Caramel Woods. It smells like the Sandalwood Vanilla candle I got during the SAS. Interesting! I'm not overly thrilled with it but we'll see if my opinion changes upon wearing it. I sometimes get that way with scents. I'll go, oh hey, that's not so bad, or WHAT WAS I THINKING?! For ACW it was the only one that really even interested me. I have last year's SCP from the SAS preview where I nabbed them for $3 a piece and I already have SBW that I'm not over-joyed by but I'll wear it once in a while. So, ACW will get a review whenever I get in a Fall bodycare mood so be on the look out for that.

With that, I'm off to Busch Gardens for a family outing all paid for by work! Hurray!

Candles! Candles!! Candles!!!

Hey guys! The long awaited candle sale has arrived. While I was at work, PIC texted me a slideshow of the candles HE bought when he dropped me off and my turn came after work!

He got two of the Marshmallow Fireside and I got two of them. His third was Apple Ale, which to me smells like a carbonated apple and spice deal. Almost like it's alcoholic honestly. The prize of the bunch was Pumpkin Pecan Waffles which sort of reminds me of Capn Crunch cereal slathered in maple syrup and topped with cinnamon. It was sold out online for the longest time and my store actually got their stock of it in and on the shelves. It seems to be a popular one in store too as there were only a handful left. I like it, but I'll burn it before I decide whether it's hoard-worthy or not.

The rest I've already reviewed elsewhere. I have come to the conclusion that I don't know what I was thinking when I picked Autumn Day over Autumn while the Mason Jars were on sale. When I smelled Autumn Day in the 3 wick, I came to the conclusion that it smelled kind of like an ashtray...blergh! I might swap it for an Autumn. 

I've also decided to foray into room sprays with my room spray--err perfume virginity going bye bye to Marshmallow Fireside. We'll see how I like it and whether I buy any more or not. 

My store had Pumpkin Carving out in the Mason Jars but not 3 wick yet. They also have Flannel out which is a less in your face Villa Bergamot to my nose. I normally don't like cologne-y scents but I was actually considering buying it! The rest of the Fall candles should be coming out soon. I smelled Applewood Bonfire and I want it I want it I want it! Straight up clean fire and woodsy. Amazing. I like the sweetness MF offers but for that night by the fire, that's gonna be a winner, I can tell now.

That's a wrap. Enjoy the candle sale my loves! I'm sure I'll buy at least one more set of tres before the sale is over. Thinking 'bout that Flannel.

Pumpkin Hayride finally joined the Fall collection online. 

Today marks the start of 2/$22 3 wick candles. No more guessing, no more waiting! The soap sale was originally slated to end on the 25th but they cut it short to give us this! I don't have an end date for you lovelies yet as the email hasn't made it's way to me yet, but I am guessing it's good only through the weekend.

 I'm thinking about reserving some candles from my store since I can't go until after 7, I heard a lot of people asking about them! Happy shopping!
